Networks may also be classified in terms of the networking media used to

connect hosts in the network. Some of the networking media used are

unshielded twisted-pair, shielded twisted-pair, coaxial cables and fiber

optic cables. Some even use radio waves to communicate. Networks that use

radio waves to communicate are called wireless networks.
